The EcoVinyl Project by Matthew Lim

Matthew Lim is bringing the green movement into the audio product realm with his EcoVinyl Project.  The recent graduate of the Art Center College of Design has created and built an eco-friendly turntable and headphone set made from sustainable or easily recyclable materials.  Lim has utilized high density fiberboard, cork, and aluminium to create not only a great looking headphone turntable set but also an example for manufacturers to follow.  Hopefully his fresh sustainable EcoVinyl Project will inspire others.

Smile!!! Grab A Yumaki Toothbrush

Your toothbrush may not be the first item that comes to mind when you think about style and design.  For the majority of us our dentist dictates what toothbrush we use by planting one in that bounteous goody bag we receive after every biannual visit.  Most of us don't even know we have a stylish choice when it comes to our all important oral hygiene.  That's where Yumaki's innovation is sparking a glorious switch from the drab boring old toothbrush of the past to the updated, some may even call it hip design of today.  Yumaki balances functionality and design flawlessly.  Now, since I haven't personally used a Yumaki brush I can't really tell how good of a job they'll do compared to my Oral B... but they look rad (and that's enough for me). Their toothbrushes are even made from 100% recycled material that can be recycled again when you're done shinning your grill with them.  Coming in a plethora of colors there's bound to be something even the most discerning mouth will enjoy.  Hell, they even have a rasta toothbrush... What's not to love!  Give the gift of pearly whites, I suggest gifting one to Kirsten Dunst.  Spiderman couldn't even help that snaggle-tooth.  Oh snap!
