The Varsity Bag By Herschel Supply Co. (13 Pics)

The Varsity Bag by Herschel Supply Co. carries with it the simplicity of a brand that has been around for several decades but it also conceals some serious tech and comfort.  You wouldn't think a bag that looks like it's straight outta the 70's would have a fleece lined laptop sleeve or ultra padded straps but the Varsity Bag does... and it's still attractive to hipsters, simply amazing.

The Varsity 15in iPad Messenger Bag By Hex (10 Pics)

The Hex Varsity 15in Messenger Bag is the perfect pairing for the iPad freaks out there.  Especially the ones that I see just strolling around with their iPad out like it's a ginormous cell phone when in reality it's a ginormous blind spot allowing you to haplessly jaunt into oncoming traffic.  The Hex Varsity Messenger Bag has a clear protected window that allows you to update your all important status without even having to remove your iPad from your bag.  Made from wool this Hex bag will keep your electronic goodies out of harms way.

The San Fernando Valley Mercantile Co. Tool Bag

I've heard of people being called tool bags but I've never actually seen a "Tool Bag".  Thanks to The San Fernando Valley Mercantile Co. I know what one actually looks like.  This stylish bag packs some serious durability you probably could actually throw some tools in the mofo but I'm thinking using it for a carry-on bag is probably what most of us non construction workers will end up doing.  Based on a Bell Systems repairman's bag The San Fernando Valley Mercantile Co. has reconstructed this classic using cotton green duck canvas, top grain leather on all of the straps (yes there is a shoulder strap too), and antique nickel rivets to finish it off.  Grab yours and join a union.

The Summit Papoose Backpack By Visvim

Not your normal pack, this stylish and functional Summit Papoose bag by Visvim incorporates a retro silhouette with all the essential creature comforts of a new bag.  The Summit Papoose bag doesn't exactly scream memory foam and a laptop pocket but it has them and more.  Perfect for the hipster on the go, just add coffee stains and a cig burn or two, these bags from Japanese brand Visvim are a hot commodity.

Rag and Bone Weekend Bags

Rag and Bone is steppin' it up with these stylish new weekend getaway bags.  Made from waxed canvas these bags are built to last and look fresh while keeping your gear safe and sound in the single large pocket.  Just think of all of the fun things you can carry in them; bowling balls, beer, some Credence tapes... the possibilities are endless.

Marc By Marc Jacobs Black Leather Duffel (10 Pics)

I don't normally write about designer goods, not because I don't enjoy the style but more so because they are ridiculously fucking expensive.   This new murdered out leather duffel from Marc By Marc Jacobs is pretty fresh and a good tonal step away from the allover prints that have been flooding the market place as of late.  I'm sure it still has a three digit price tag but at least you'll be able to take it with you on a vacation without feeling like you're trying too hard to be a designer whore.

Fred Perry x Master-Piece Bags Colab (7 Pics)

Fred Perry and Master-Piece have teamed up again and concocted these unusual seemingly hodge-podged bags.  Built from a plethora of materials including leather, cotton, suede, and elephant foreskin. (Note, one of these materials may not actually be used in the bag construction). Unfortunately these bags can only be picked up on the Fred Perry Japan site so good luck getting your grubby mitts on these.

The Alloy Collection By Incase (17 Pics)

The new Alloy Collection by Incase brings it back to the future with these matte silver bags.  The packs come with all the creature comforts that you expect from Incase; cushy breathable straps, a cozy safe place for that all important notebook. maybe a stash pocket or two for your... uh pens. The Alloy Collection will run you $60-$180 but that's a small price to pay for a fresh pack that will make you look creepily similar to those silver dudes that stand still all day for money.

The Herschel Supply Co. (19 Pics)

The Herschel Supply Company comes straight out of Canada ay!  Steeped in tradition the brand brews up a solid mix of traditional bags that have clean lines built around quality.  Don't be fooled by the throwback exteriors of these bags, they come jammed with all the functionality of modern bags.  They just have a little extra sumptin'... style. Get your grubby mitts on them here.
