Modern Artisans Features Shoe Maker Sebastian Tarek (6 Pics)

For you regular viewers of the blog you know that I am all about handmade goods.  Occasionally while I'm scouring the interweb looking for interesting, unusual things for you to peep I come across something special. This Modern Artisans video featuring the shoe making skills of Sebastian Tarek struck me as something worth a solid look.
There is value beyond the mere monetary purchase of a handmade item, in this case shoes.  Quality, handmade goods take on a soul, a piece of the craftsman that made them and a piece of the person that cherishes them.  Fathoms away from the assembly lines of over produced under constructed shoes, Sebastian Tarek's handmade footwear finds a warm home in today's modern closet.

The Alomar By Vans (7 Pics)

Some fresh new kicks courtesy of Vans.  The Alomar in brown is a silhouette from Vans that we haven't seen much of before and it looks solid.  Not too high and bulky but just high enough to rock when you want to impress.  Something is missing... The Alomar also dropped the trademark Vans logo on the rear of the shoe.

The Cesario By Creative Recreation (42 Pics)

Catch a whiff of the sweet smelling freshness that is the Cesario by Creative Recreation.  Available in 7 colorways these kicks do high tops right.  Not too high and not too low but just right.  The Cesario keeps things stylish no matter where you rock them.

The Yachtmaster Mid By Gravis (14 Pics)

The good old tried and true boat shoe.  Thanks to our friends at Gravis and their interpretation of the boat shoe aka The Yachtmaster Mid ($102), we get a fresh spin on an old favorite. New textures and three colorways makes these kicks pop.  I'll take my pair of Yachtmaster Mids please... if it were only that easy.

The Society Max Pack Sneaker By Supra (14 Pics)

If you like color pop more specifically neon pop then the Society Max Pack Sneakers by Supra are right up your alley.  These high tops pack a punch in the color department and don't skimp on height or use of Velcro either.  These kicks are pretty fresh and with a name like Society Max Pack you can almost be guaranteed that all eyes will be on your Supras.

The Cesario Lo By Creative Recreation (20 Pics)

It's kind of hard not to look at these rather bright kicks courtesy of Creative Recreation.  The Cesario Lo shoe comes in several dope colors but none are more prominent and pop as hard as the purple, coral, and cement color way.  I guarantee if you rock these out to a club more than one lady friend will come your way to check out your fancy footwork.  You can also check out all of the more subtle color ways in the Creative Recreation Cesario Lo after the jump.

Stevie Williams x Supra Vaider Colab (13 Pics)

Stevie Williams and Supra have teamed up on a series of Vaider kicks. There will be a total of three kicks in all.  The first release is a high top built for skating, this durable skate shoe looks so fresh I wouldn't even want to skate in them.  Good thing I can't even olley anymore.  Keep your eyes out for these Stevie Williams x Supra Vaider kicks in your local skate shop.  Peep this commercial that Supra made to promote these new Vaiders.

Creative Recreation Spring 2012 Preview

Los Angeles based footwear brand Creative Recreation recently previewed their Spring 2012 footwear line and there are several fresh styles set to make your feets more redonkulously stylish than ever.  The line is leaning increasingly more on the sophisticated side with clean silhouettes and toned down pop colors (at least from what they've shown us in the past).   These Creative Rec kicks are all yours next Spring... patience young grasshopper.

The Emerald Collection By Element

Skate apparel brand Element continues their jaunt into the footwear realm with their brand new Emerald Collection.  The Emerald Collection features three styles, the high Hampton Boot Elite, the lower Hampton Elite, and the Marlow Elite.  All these kicks are made from ultra durable leather and feature some fancy beads that garnish the laces.  Element's Emerald Collection also features apparel so check the entire line out at your local skate shop.

Supra Cuban Kicks

Supra is adding a few new colorways to their Cuban kicks.  They look pretty fresh and have some ever important color pop on the insole and outsole.  You have to do something like that these days because skate shoes are getting increasing more bland by the minute.  Solid new kick's designs are more hard to come by than a politician that actually does their job.  (Yep, I just worked some political frustrations into a skate shoe post... aren't you proud)

Sperry Top-Sider x Band of Outsiders 2012 Colab (12 Pics)

Even though this Sperry Top-Sider x Band Of Outsiders colab isn't coming out until Spring 2012 I can already feel the breeze created by preppy kids popping collars and boners at this sneak peek.  The pink ones are pretty fresh... get your grubby mitts on these slip-on kicks in about a year.

Vans Era Wingtips

Vans continues to pump out the new hotness with their upcoming Summer release of the Era Wingtip series.  Keep it classy in these new kicks.  I'm claiming you could rock this fancy footwear in a tux but you might want to stick to your skinny jeans for now.

Vans Vault Authentic One Piece LX (13 Pics)

If you didn't get your fill of pigskin this past weekend you may want to strap these kicks on your little piggies.  The Vans Vault is releasing the all pigskin One Piece LX a continuation of their ridonkulously successful Authentic line.  Pick up these porkers starting in April at Vans Vault dealers.

UNDFTD X Converse Colab

If I only had room in my closet and cash in my wallet then I could afford this UNDFTD and Converse colab ($138).  These hightops have it all, velcro… and ummm orange.  Pick em up at the UNDFTD shop.
