Sterling Silver Army Men From Good Art (13 Pics)

Yeah, you read the title correctly, these are sterling silver army men aka toy soldiers.  Actually, they definitely are not toys (or really expensive nice ones), these army guys are more art than play thing.  Good Art brings these skull faced action figures to life and makes me really want one (the Bazooka Guy) on my desk or any of the other army men. Grab yours while they last.

Pumpkin Carving By Ray Villafane (21 Pics)

This is pumpkin carver Ray Villafane's favorite time of year.  It's the time when Ray gets to practice his craft of turning ordinary old pumpkins into works of art.   Villafane can do some ridiculously dumbfounding things to a pumpkin... There aren't any stencils for these pumpkins, take a look after the jump.

Skate Toy Soldiers By Steve Nishimoto (6 Pics)

These aren't your typical toy soldiers that you used to encircle with M80's and subsequently blow the fuck up.  Steve Nishimoto is putting his own skate inspired spin on one of the best known toy action figures ever produced with these Skate Toy Soldiers.  We're not sure if these make skate not war inspired toys are available for sale however, Steve is a creative guy and I'm sure you'll be able to get your grubby mitts on them eventually.

Sculptures By Jiri Geller (14 Pics)

Finnish artist Jiri Geller takes pop culture to the next level in his work. His art is dark and playful, kind of like Megan Fox... This is probably just my excuse to post pictures of Megan Fox. Enjoy.

Artist Kris Kuksi (20 Pics)

The creeperific-beautifully, intricate, yet coldly macabre art stylings of Kris Kuksi are unique to his work.  Industrial and graceful his sculptures are like organic machines, similar to Lil' Kim's face... smooth but with sharp edges.  So much detail and time go into each piece there should be a huge "Do Not Touch" sign around each one.

Art By Kate MacDowell

American artist Kate MacDowell is a master of sculpting porcelain.  I'm not talking about fancy china porcelain either, that shit is for grandmas and folks with too much money and not enough style.  Her sculptures are beautiful pieces of fine art with a morbid kick and heaps of unique style... my kind of art.

Enjoy.
